Sunrises in the East

Sun sets in the west. Above the horizon you'll see the dark blue band, beauty of the Venous Belt, shadow of the earth. A beautiful smile from her face and his sun would've risen. Reality mocked his passion and made motes out of his heart, he was utterly slivered. His world destroyed and dissected - he was in pain. Pain? Pain is relative term, like time and happiness. His anguished heart could not complain, after all he was just an outcast. Wondering and wandering, why did it happen to him, was it jealousy that gripped his whole existence and burnt into tiny little grey specks of ash? He didn't know anything but knew everything about Pain- and it was unbearable. "To live is to suffer, to suffer is to live" - Jon Stallworthy He accepted the truth the way it came, harsh and bitter. But silently waited, hoping that someday his sun would rise. Waited and counted, day after day. He wanted to believe he had those feelings escaped out of his entity; but deep down inside he knew that he could remember her whenever he wanted. All he had to do was close his eyes and put his hand on his heart. He could recall her beautiful eyes, dark and shiny. Her curly hair when they were short and when they were long. The smile on her face when she would talk about someone she loved and her dedication into making someone believe something that was important to her. He could reminisce how she would break when he was hurt and how passionate she was when she wanted to do something. How education and her grades mattered and how she had teary eyes that day. He remembers her laugh and her smirks. He remembers he counted only two hundred and fifty six breaths before he fell asleep next to her.He remembers how she said to him, that she is afraid. He remembers everything that is to be forgotten. But there is no such thing as a hard and fast rule, except for scientific facts and mathematical formulas; maths and science never defined love. He knows that they are supposed to be just friends but every time he looks at her all he can think of is how immaculate she is. She is a single, flawless sapphire in a pouch of stones. He knows that she is his world.. A world that could be decimated from a single strike. He is afraid too. Afraid of what might be, because one day they might not just be friends either. Lovers to friends and friends to being just random people. He loves what he has, even if his heart is now crushed into motes. He loves what he has because hearts keep on breaking and its no big deal. He loves what he has because he has her, even if its not the way he wants her; and what he has is what he needs her as. He loves her because.. Sometimes it's not necessary to have a reason to love someone.
