A thousand lights that dance out of my heart to you each time

Autumn leaves and autumn's weather. Autumn love, autumn Kisses. Autumn You and autumn Her.

With much difficulty, you manage to make it to her house. Her mom's there, that other girl is there, there's you there. But she is no where to be found. Your eyes scurrying left and right, to find her smiling radiantly. She's taking a shower, you hear her mother say, as if she could read them. You sit on the bed, right on the corner, waiting. Through the window, the sunlight peaked into her room, awing it's linearity. The room is clean, tidy and spacious. Shifting positions, trying to get comfortable, as the mother brings cold coffee. Holding it off the tray, your hands shake. Realising, you're a little nervous. After all, it is the first time. Not knowing then, that it might also be the last.

She enters the room, goddess like. Your mind playing kaleidoscopic pictures of her, round and round. Beautiful long, black and wet hair, falling down, damping her reddish maroon shirt. Beads of water trickling down her neck. Her eyes darkened with the freshly put kohl. She looking absolutely gorgeous, in her simplicity. Red shirt and black jeans. How can you forget? She tied a white towel around her head, to dry the hair. How beautiful the hair were. How you could just, let your face hide into them. A protection against the world. A mask, to be hidden away from Only everyone, but her. How hard it was to resist the urge to kiss the nape of her neck, pulling the hair on a side. Watching her every move carefully and then to be enlightened by the smile, you've been patient for.  In which you can drown in, for eternity. Utter bliss. Love.

They sit down together, on a long oval table. The other girl right at the head; she and you, opposite to each other. It was a planned sitting arrangement. To be able to look into the eyes of the other. To wrap their legs around the other, in a grasp that meant never to let go, no matter how extreme the danger would be. To be able to read the other's thoughts'. To be, undeniably at peace. To be Home.
Love.

Other girl, walks out of the room, leaving you and her alone. Finally, the moment that they have been waiting for. Some seclusion, privacy. To be closer. To be able to feel the other's breathing on your skin. To have the other's heart beat synchronised with yours. How you could turn back time, but there's too much time to be turned.
She sits close, holding  your face in her hands. Engrossed in your eyes, like nothing else in this world is worth looking at. You look back, a little scared; eyes can give out more information than needed, especially if you're that close. She reads them. Worried, she begins kissing your face. Forehead, the bridge of your nose, the chin, eyes, cheeks, the corners of your lips, left and right. Trailing your jaw line with her tongue. And when all that wasn't enough.
She puts her warm lips on yours, parting them open with her tongue. You're stunned. Never done that one before. Your eyes are wide open, as hers are tightly shut. She opens them, only to find fear on your face. She's frightened, reckoning a wrong move.
It's Not.

The other girl comes back, realises her intrusion. Feels weird and leaves.
You and her again, with the Autumn in the background.
This time you lie slightly, resting your back on the arm rest of the sofa. She comes close to apologise. Not completely reachable, you pull her into your arms, on top of you. Her lips on yours. This time you parting them open and closing your eyes. She pulling on your tongue a little; a little pain, but pleasurable. You moan. They want more. To be held longer, to be enough for the other.

You here someone walking. They jump a part; it was the other girl. Smiling , marvellously and desirably,at each other; hard to hide the disappointment from their face's, to be torn a part. For what might have been a sin, seemed the world's beauty to them, ironically then.

One can sometimes turn into a stranger to one's own memory. Looking back at what they had, and what could have been. It seems like a different life time, altogether. The love, the hope, the fragrance of
geeli mithi and flowers. They all are different.
Your chest aches with the pain for longing by her, aches for a little more love. Aches enough, to bring tears to their eyes.
Even, Three years later. 25th September.
